RF Control is a tool designed for remotely controlling up to 48 channels of Sennheiser and Shure wireless receivers simultaneously. Its user-friendly interface offers a clear snapshot of essential wireless receiver parameters.
The application features dedicated screens meticulously tailored to provide control over critical parameters during live situations, while safeguarding access to potentially system-endangering settings.
The supported devices include:
- Sennheiser: EW-DX, EM 3732, 2000 series, evolution G3, evolution G4, and EM 6000 receivers.
- Shure: ULX-D.
RF Control allows monitoring an array of key parameters based on the receiver manufacturer, such as RF level, AF level bargraph, battery status, remaining battery time, and more. The plot display of RF and AF levels over time is highly beneficial for walk tests and dropout identification in audio transmission.
The iPad version's full-screen plot window permits seamless browsing of recorded RF and audio levels for extended periods. Remote control functionalities encompass adjustments to frequency, bank, channel, device name, squelch level, RX Mute, and more.
iPad users also gain access to a scan window for RF spectrum analysis through recognized Sennheiser devices. The scan data can be exported as a .csv file for further frequency coordination and planning with third-party software.
Upon start-up, RF Control automatically scans for connected devices. It requires Sennheiser 2000 series and evolution wireless G3 devices to have Firmware 1.7.0 or higher for remote control protocol support. The app can monitor up to 48 channels in various configurations with customizable channel arrangements that persist across sessions.
It is essential to note that RF Control was formerly known as the wilSmoTe app and does not support IEM transmitters. Additionally, the capacity of channels monitored is contingent on hardware performance.
(Sennheiser, EW-DX, EM 6000, EM 3732, 2000 series, evolution G3 / G4 are brands or trademarks of Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co.KG. Shure, ULXD, QLXD, Axient are brands or products of Shure Inc., unrelated to RF Control.)
